Bed and Breakfast in Central London offer some of the most economic rooms in central London.

There is a wide gulf between the various types of London Bed and Breakfast accommodation. This accounts for the price differential between the cheapest at around £30 for a double/twin room with breakfast, to over £70 for the same thing in a B&B where a family owned hotel will take personal interest in providing satisfaction.

London Hotel Districts

West End: The very centre of London for the visitor with the theatre district, Oxford St and many of the main sights, consequently very little budget accommodation.

Kings Cross / Euston: Kings Cross has some of the cheapest accommodation in Central London, Euston is more upmarket.

Victoria: Hotel accommodation of all grades, very central and great direct transport links with the airports.

Bayswater & Paddington: Perhaps the major budget accommodation area in London with great economic restaurants, shops too.

Liverpool Street & City: The financial and business area of London. Terminus of Stansted Express and Stansted Terravision buses. Hotel accommodation has few budget options.
By far the bulk of the Bed and Breakfasts fall in the middle. Some of the Bed and Breakfasts advertise themselves as self certified 2 or 3 star hotels.

This usually means a simple hotel that has some of the facilities of a 3 star hotel, commonly a lift, 24 hour front desk, bar, restaurant etc.
